Table top surface details: The surface of the table top is finished with lacquer, sanded, deburred and polished.

Marblewood is yellow to golden brown with irregular streaks of brown, purple, or black. Pale sapwood is approximately 2.5 cm thick and solid yellow, lacking the contrasting streaks in the heartwood. The high contrast between the golden body and the much darker streaks gives it an appearance similar to natural marble, hence the common name for this species "marble wood". The overall appearance of Marblewood is very similar to Zebrawood. Marble wood tends to have a slightly finer texture. Marbled wood can have a characteristic - although usually faint - odor during processing.
